Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide is the foremost Igbo socio-cultural organization, established in 1976 by visionary leaders to unite and represent the interests of the Igbo people globally. Founded by prominent figures such as Dr. Akanu Ibiam, Chief Jerome Udoji, and other esteemed Igbo leaders, Ohanaeze Ndigbo serves as a beacon of unity, cultural preservation, and progress for Ndigbo everywhere.*

The aims and objectives of OHA-NA-EZE shall be
- To serve as a focal point of reference, of direction and of collective leadership in matters affecting the interest, solidarity and general welfare of Ndigbo in the contest of Nigeria.
- To promote, develop and advance Igbo Language and Culture.
- To promote honour, dignity and self respect among Ndigbo and encourage their achievement orientation in various aspects of life;
- To liaise with all tiers of government in Nigeria in order to ensure rapid socio-economic development in Igboland;
